If you’ve ever been walked on in a relationship, this is a “coming out” song that hopefully you’ll relate to…
…Eliot.

Stepped on, I have been. Simple is good for this song (and I like the harmonica). However, I’m thinking more piano than guitar on this one.

now this one - I like! I think I like your more melodious songs best…I love the guitar but agree that more piano might be nice!! Good job Eliot!!
Money!!!! Eliot, that song could make you a guzillion dollars. Then you could cut the lawn for free (jus like Forest Gump!) I loved it! Has Nicole heard it?
Ah, so you assume it’s about her, huh? I’ll never expose the source of my inspiration! Did anybody ask Paul McCartney, “Hey Paul, by ‘Yesterday’ which specific day did you mean? Friday? Thursday…?”
(Notice how I just compared myself and Paul McCartney?) Well, actually between him and I, we have 77 Gold Records in total.
Paul = 77, Eliot = 0 (and counting).
Yes. This is my favorite. Like the harmonica and folk twang. Can really feel the emotion.
This one was very powerful to me. I feel your emotions in this one, but I also feel this would resonate with many people - even those who aren’t personally connected with you and your situation. (Like how delicately I put that?) I really liked both the music & lyrics on this one.
OK. That’s one’s or the radio. You’ve got both Claudie’s and my vote on this one or the Grammy. Heart on the sleave.
Cheers, Randy
How do you talk about someone who pours out their heart in a song? What’s to say? I know - you need more guitar!
She-who-shall-not-be-named’s ears are burning right now.
Excellent bro.
Well crafted and pleasant to th’ ear, but–would you rush out of the building after the concert with this one stamped on your brain?
I bet you Weeks 7’s is gonna sizzle me gizzards!
Can’t get this one out of my head! Your images are powerful and evocative! Your lyrics sting with bitterness but, also with triumph. This is a keeper, Eliot.
Good one. Lots of feeling/emotion.
