This is what I’d call a Little Song. It’s a back-to-basics (me and guitar) tune with a simple message. You certainly won’t hear an elaborate orchestration of a 1,000 midgets (each playing the rims of a hundred crystal glasses individually filled with water to exact volumes to resonate perfectly) here. Those of you that have been watching closely will find that whenever I’m falling behind on the schedule, I usually crank out a stripped-down arrangement to save on time.
Thanks, Donna, for the song suggestion. And thanks again, B and M for putting up with my split attention for another week. We’re getting there!

Awww. That’s a purdy song. Yup, clean and clear and simple, just the way I like it.

Good Morning E!
I am sitting in “that” chair by the window right now. I love the song but see I need to be careful about what I say to you smart guy. There is Hope thanks for the inspiration.
What a beautiful and peaceful song. If it was early evening I’d raise my glass of wine to ya! The music is smooth, tranquil, I love the guitar. It’s perfect and lovely and a great reminder to believe in Hope. I like it a lot it has heart:). Enjoy NY this coming week.
Just listened to your most recent song .It is thought inspiring.Loved it .
Great Aunt Mary

Eliot,
I really liked this song. It’s amazing to me how much style range you have.
Having said that….
1) Why is “Hope” capitalized? If it’s a proper noun it totally changed the context of this song. To me, “you gotta have Hope” would refer to say, Bob Hope. Is that what you meant? Why do I have to have Bob Hope?
2) You need a verse about a guy in Toronto trying to get refrigeration equipment in by the 26th of this month. Now THAT guy has to have hope (not Bob). Then it really speaks to your audience who is not likely to be on their way to Vegas with a guitar or staring out the window like a mental patient.

Love it Eliot . It was purely an inspiration I had while standing at the sink looking out into the backyard and seeing what a beautiful world we really have around us . Well done .Keep going guy !!!
