Hey folks,
New tune for y’all. This one’s very noteworthy to me because it’s the first one written with a good friend of mine (and budding poet), Chantal Minten. Thanks, Chanty, for the great lyrical ideas. I hope I didn’t mangle them into something unrecognizable? Anyway, if there are any Grammy’s to be won for this song down the road, you can bet it’s gonna be Chantal up at the podium, as she’s the eye-candy of this duo. I have a face for radio, as you know…
Cheers, Eliot.

This is a really great tune…definitely a final choice for the CD.
The ONLY problem is that there is an indication…a suggestion if you will…of fornication as a result of an abundance of alcohol. Is that really something we should be teaching the youth of today??? C’mon Eliot…isn’t it a lot more “sexy” to sing about “holding your hand while we share a soda pop”?
Maybe it’s just me….
awesome teamwork - great song - one of the best
Eliot,
Great song. I loved the changes and chord structure. I couldn’t tell you what they’re about, but the lyrics are lovely.
See you in LA at the Road Rally this fall??

Yes! It’s looking that way. Let’s make sure we hook up.
Eliot.
Well done! The new songs you have been putting out lately are sure fantastic lyrically! I am really enjoying them!! Nice work with Chantal. As for that radio face its nice to see it around again. Your final CD product is going to do well…I can hardly wait.
Catchy chorus! I found that it keeps going at the same level throughout and that kind of makes it blaaaaaaah. BTW I find myself listening to “Let’s Call It Even” and “Irreplaceable” over and over. Can you create a “6″ on the scale for those two songs?
First of all, Handsome El, I am amazed at what you can do with so little! I gave you little more than some images and a theme, and you were able to make that a story with players living out those images, jockeying around that theme. Then you add your voice, passion and music and WHAMO! You have a great song!
I am thrilled that you liked the “testing gravity” idea and chose it for the title. I am puffed up with pride that I can be a small part of this great CD. I am perhaps so puffed up and excited that I can’t quite put it into words.
I may have given you a little inspiration, but you know the saying,: 5% inspiration, 95% perspiration (+ talent)! Eliot, this “project” of yours is taking you to the next level! BTW Everyone, Eliot is super easy to work with, so lend him what you have. You will be pleasantly surprised with what he creates.
You continue to amaze. Really catchy tune, kind of got stuck in my head. BTW “handsome face guy”, you’ll be accepting that grammy yourself one day.
